On June 7th 2006 the Guildhall Museum featured on BBC2's The People's Museum series made by Reef TV. The object chosen by reporter Ian Blandford to go into the BBC's Virtual Museum was the Kitchener Camp Journal. Viewers were asked to vote for this and three items from other museums. The vote put The Kitchener Camp Journals into the Virtual Museum.
